Representative C. Ed Massey was elected in 2018 to the Kentucky House of Representatives.
Ed is a tireless advocate in Frankfort for smaller government and conservative values. He is a leading voice for Veterans, Educators and for the unborn.
Ed is a Northern Kentucky native, and lives in Boone County with his wife Anita and two dogs. Ed is a graduate of Lloyd Memorial High School in Erlanger, Kentucky (1985); graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, cum laude -- Bachelor of Science in police administration with a minor in business (1989); graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Juris Doctorate (1992). He has been practicing law for over 26-years. He's a Christian and involved in his church, First Church of Christ.
Ed is admitted to practice in all courts of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. He is also licensed in the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals; 7th Circuit Court of Appeals; 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Memberships include the Kentucky Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, Indiana Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association, Leadership Kentucky Alumni Association (2004) and the Chase Inn of Court. Ed is a partner in the firm of Blankenship Massey & Associates, with two thriving offices in Erlanger, Kentucky, and Dry Ridge, Kentucky.
He is actively involved in many Local, State and National organizations including the Florence Rotary, Covington Optimist Club, a proud member of the NRA, National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Operation Honor Banner, and currently serves as a Director on the Board of the New York Says Thank You Foundation.
Ed's passion and love for our Educators and Students has kept him active with the Kentucky Department of Education, Kid’s First Advocacy Award and he's served on the Kentucky School Board Association and was selected by his peers as the National School Board President.
Soon after Ed first took the oath of office as a State Representative in 2018, his unique and diverse background made him immediately distinct. He is deeply devoted to his commitment to the constituents in District 66, the Veterans, the Military, the unborn and to our Educators and Students, he has stood in the public arena as a voice and champion of policies that will ultimately unleash greater opportunities for all.
As a father and husband, Ed understands that decisions made in Frankfort have an immediate impact on families, and shape the community we will leave to our children.
